I’ve always been captivated by the wonders of the cosmos. Whenever the skies are clear in the UK, you’ll likely find me outside — telescope in hand — gazing upward in quiet awe. There’s something profoundly humbling about witnessing light that has travelled millions of years to reach us; a reminder of both our smallness and our connection to the vast universe beyond.
In my free time, I channel this fascination into astrophotography, capturing celestial bodies and deep-sky objects from my home in Merstham, UK. Each image is more than just a photograph — it’s a window into the mysteries of the night sky, from the luminous swirls of distant nebulae, to the rugged craters of the Moon, and the faint light of galaxies millions of light-years away. With every clear night, I strive to refine my technique, explore new imaging methods, and reveal the hidden beauty above us.
Below is a gallery of my favourite astrophotography images, each representing countless hours of observation, patience, and post-processing — and, above all, a deep appreciation for science, exploration, and the artistry of the universe itself.
My passion for the night sky also inspired me to write Amateur Astrophotography: Collection 1, a book that blends practical guidance with personal insight for those eager to begin their own exploration of the stars. It’s both a beginner’s companion and a celebration of the joy that comes from capturing the cosmos through your own lens.
I hope this collection — and my book — inspires you to look up, to explore, and to find the same sense of wonder that first drew me to the stars.
